Helena
Helena came to tattooing after studying fine arts, years that gave her a strong visual culture long before she ever picked up a machine. She completed her apprenticeship right here at Black Hat Tattoo Nice, training within the team to become our junior artist.
Her world is instantly recognisable: dreamlike, fantastical, sometimes dark. Helena builds pieces that feel pulled straight out of a dream, the kind you can't quite shake once you wake up. Strange creatures, mysterious atmospheres, unapologetic fantasy aesthetics: she pulls every client into an imagination that's entirely her own, shaped by years of art education.
That fine arts background shows in how she composes a piece, in the care she puts into detail, and in her ability to give real depth to scenes that can get genuinely complex. Tattooing became a new medium for her, skin instead of canvas, a way to tell stories that go beyond the ordinary.
Helena regularly puts out a wide range of flash designs, a great way to step straight into her world without committing to a fully custom project. Still junior, but already carrying a strong identity in the studio.
