Aoifey
Aoifey is a junior tattoo artist who's been making art her whole life. She started painting young, inspired by her uncle in Malaysia, whose realism oil paintings fascinated her growing up. She later studied at LSAD before moving to Dublin, where she kept developing her style and eventually found her way into tattooing.
Her work leans heavily on blackwork, surrealism, and a long-running fascination with the grotesque. She's been a horror fan since childhood, growing up watching her father play games like Resident Evil and Fatal Frame. That's where it started: a taste for things that unsettle, and a genuine appreciation for beauty in what most people would call ugly or weird.
She's working toward specialising in blackwork surrealism and unusual designs. The goal is to create pieces that hold up on their own, while still feeling made for the specific person wearing them. She's just as interested in larger, more committed body pieces, the kind that look like they were always meant to be there.
